Shrapnel Still Inside: Give Abdullah in Gaza a Chance to Heal

Hi I am Mohammad from Gaza, , and I want to tell you about my brother Abdullah, now 22 years old, has endured unimaginable pain and hardship. At just 12 years old, during the 2014 war on Gaza, he was seriously wounded by shrapnel to his abdomen. Tragically, he suffered again in 2024, when he was 22, with further injuries that have left lasting deformities and shrapnel still embedded in his intestines.

Despite all this, Abdullah’s spirit remains strong, but his body needs urgent medical treatment and surgery that is currently out of reach due to the closed borders. As you know here in Gaza the medical system has collapsed, and he cannot get treatment for his medical condition. We are praying, in shaa Allah, that the borders will open soon so he can access the care he desperately needs to remove the shrapnel and begin healing.
